Happy Birthday, Harry! Celebrating the Boy Who Lived With the Best Quotes
There are so many things to love about the Harry Potter series that I can't pick just one to celebrate his with. I think it is fitting to share my favorite quotes on this special day. Inspired by the Muggle Wall at last night's midnight release of The Cursed Child at B&N, I've included what the quote means to me or my reaction to it. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
This book was the best one by far in the series. I loved the setting of Idris and Alicante. It was a nice change from the common and familiar setting of New York City.
Cassandra Clare’s City of Bones
City of Bones was a great start to a thrilling series. YA novels are not typically my "drug" of choice, but this one didn't feel "teeny" at all while I was reading. If you are looking for an exciting fantasy, this is the series for you!
Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84
This was by far the longest book I've ever read, but even still I never lost interest in it. Haruki Murakami is magnificent at blending reality with fantasy. This is what puts him at the top of my favorite author list.
