Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (5 Stars!)

Wow! I was one of those who caught up with the show and then decided I had to read the book. I'm so glad I did. My friend has been trying to talk me into it for the past year or so and I was always like "meh, sounds ok. I don't know". I wish I had read it sooner! I got lucky and found a steal on Facebook Marketplace. A lady was selling the first four books in the series in hardcover for only $20 so I jumped on it! The show seems like it was pretty true to the books, though of course the books go deeper and have great bits that they could not fit into the show.

New 5 Star Amazon Review That Made Me Smile

I wanted to share my most recent review because it made me smile and feel so great about my free book, "Broken Angel".

Stephen King’s “Cycle of the Werewolf”

I picked this one up to sell in my bookstore, and luckily someone was nice enough to wait until I was done reading it to purchase it (haha). This was going to be my last time giving old Stephen King a chance. I've read several of his novels, big famous ones too, and just could not ever get into his style of writing. Boy, was I glad I read this one!

City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

This book was the best one by far in the series. I loved the setting of Idris and Alicante. It was a nice change from the common and familiar setting of New York City.

Cassandra Clare’s City of Bones

City of Bones was a great start to a thrilling series. YA novels are not typically my "drug" of choice, but this one didn't feel "teeny" at all while I was reading. If you are looking for an exciting fantasy, this is the series for you!
