COVID-19 quarantine has been in effect for weeks now and if you're anything like me then you're starting to go a little stir crazy, am I right? One fun thing to do that I never really seemed to have time for before is journaling. Weird, since I design journals, but it's true. Life gets in the way. But one of the positives of this quarantine time is that it has forced everyone to slow down and enjoy the little things that normally get pushed to the wayside. But journaling is not only a time filler, it's great for our minds as well!
If you have been thinking about getting one of Alex Apostol's journals, but are not sure you would make use of the entire thing, wait no longer! Individual pages can now be purchased at a much lower price through Etsy! Journal pages featured come from her bestsellers "My Riding Journal", "This is Me", "Novel Notes", "My Writing Journal", and her latest release "Journal of Homegrown Herbs and Organic Tea Blends"!
I am very excited about this journal because it is much needed in my life right now (minus the competition trackers. I am not there yet, but I know some of you horse lovers are!)
I haven't been keeping up with my blogging as well as I want to. By the title I'm sure you can guess, life is getting in the way of my writing. I'm no expert on how to handle this, but I thought it might make me feel better to write it out a little bit and maybe during this process I'll come up with a good way to keep writing even though I am overwhelmed with everything else going on in my life right now. So, here's what's going on:
Sorry there was no blog post yesterday, but inspiration struck me and I got swept up in a book project. While I have about 20% of "Dead Road (Dead Soil book 2)" done, something else inspired me yesterday. I had two choices: ignore the inspiration and keep writing "Dead Road" or run with the inspiration and possibly fall behind on my current book. Luckily, the inspiration wasn't to start another story, but rather create a self-discovery journal.
