For the last month I have been rereading the Bible cover-to-cover for verses to include in my upcoming nonfiction book "Warrior Princess: Claiming Your Identity in Christ". The book is going to take a look at the dual traits and personalities the Father and Son say we are to be, specifically as women. #WarriorPrincess
I thought I would take the time to write up a little bit about my experience with the Daniel Fast. Our church does it together every January and this is my first time attempting it fully. Last year, I fasted coffee, and I thought that was hard! The Daniel Fast diet is extremely restricting- no meat, no dairy, no sugars, no caffeine, only whole wheats, veggies, fruits, brown rice.
I just wanted to thank everyone out there for all the wonderful birthday wishes! It's only 9:30am and it has already been a spectacular birthday.
Tomorrow is the release of my latest non-fiction journal "Intentional: A Daily Christian Planner"!
Inside the journal you'll find 164 days worth of:
- My Daily Godly Plan
- My Day in Review
- Miracles and Prayers Answered Today
What does this verse mean to you" How do you interpret it?
To me, this verse meant you make babies and you try to overtake the earth as your own, but that's not the meaning at all. We're meant to fill the earth, not just to fill it with an abundance of people, but with a community. And the subdue the earth does not mean to abuse it. It means to grow with it, to help it grow, and to take care of it.
He made it our job to develop and build this society. God owns the world, but he has put it under our care to cultivate it. How do you live this out through your work?
