Book Review: “The Once and Future Witches” by Alix E. Harrow

This was a big book that blended magic and Salem history beautifully! I am happy I chose it for my Halloween read this year. It's a story of many things; witches and suffragettes, love and evil, motherhood and sisterhood. So many themes run through this well-thought out novel that it kept the pages turning furiously for me.

Book Review: A Secret History of Witches by Louisa Morgan

This was not the typical witch story I thought I was going to be getting when I picked this up. Wanting a story of magic and maybe even some scares, this was nothing like that but still it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic story of mothers and daughters...with a little magic tossed in here and there. If you like Alice Hoffman, you'll love Louisa Morgan!

Book Review: “Straight On Till Morning” by Liz Braswell

The Disney Twisted Tales series just keeps getting better and better. The author did another amazing job of channeling the familiar voices of Peter Pan's beloved characters while adding new twists and tales to the story.
