Review of "Madame Tussaud" by Michelle Moran

Wow, I was really impressed with this book! I ordered it as a bit of research in my own French Revolution historical fiction I'm about to start writing. I didn't expect to be enthralled with it, but I was! It was hard to put it down and then I was thinking about Marie when I wasn't reading. She had such an interesting and unique and terrible life during the revolution and a bit after.

"Little Women" New Movie and Book Review

A few weeks ago, with Christmas fast approaching, I decided to take on a rereading of "Little Women". Even though the story goes through all the seasons in many years, it has always felt like a Christmas story to me. I haven't read it for almost twenty years, when I was a teenager myself, so it's safe to say I found so much more in the book now than I had then. Life experiences will do that to a girl, eh? My goal was to finish reading the book before going to see the new movie out in theaters this last weekend. I almost made it with only 50 pages to go, so close enough.

Cover Reveal of Wayfare Angel (book 4)

I have been working hard for the last month to get Wayfare Angel written. Thanks to the motivation of NaNoWriMo I have completed 56k words so far and plan to add at least 20k more before it's finished, and that's just the first draft! The shutterstock image I chose for the cover, I've had saved for a very long time, knowing it was the perfect one for this story.
